Such a kind, ‘old school’ gentleman who I was lucky enough to meet through work.
My husband and I regarded him as a very dear friend.
When he became ill he never complained even though he must have been in great pain at times and he always had a smile for us when we got together.
He was also the greatest pasty maker of his time!
Rest in peace Rod. We will miss you.
